I had no idea you reviewed films!

I'm a major movie enthusiasts. In fact, I practically live for them. I'm a reviewer on one of the mainstream websites but I lost my information to access the site so my reviews are very sporadic (even though I was able to recently recover).

I love the actress in this movie (Jillian Bell) and am watching it now. So far I love it! I've seen her in several films including Brittany Runs A Marathon and Sword of Trust.

I saw Sword of Trust on an airplane (I say that for context). I really, really enjoyed that one. It starred Marc Maron and was written and directed by his late partner, Lynn Shelton.

Thanks again for your post! This movie is making my morning. I've been out of work sick all week and am finally feeling better.

Indie movies are my thing too!

I have a ton of movies in my various queues. Especially my Kanopy one. 275, if you can believe it! But I'm always looking for more good ones. I write a column for the local paper, and I tend to review slightly safer and more family-oriented films.

P.S. I responded to your post about ice cream.

I LOVED a movie called Palm Springs which came out (I think on Hulu) during COVID.

It starred Andy Samberg, Cristin Milioti, J.K. Simmons. It's ended up being one of my favorites.

And it was excellent as I recall. Confession: I watch at least a movie a day. I work out on a rowing machine every morning and I watch 1/2 a movie while working out. Then I usually finish it at lunch. Then I sometimes watch another one in the evening. I have to watch a ton because I do two reviews a week. One for my blog and one for the newspaper. And even though I've selected films that look promising, sometimes I have a hard time picking two great films each week. My motto should be, I sit through a lot of garbage so you don't have to!
