(13,394 posts)Probably the most unsatisfactory final was to The Sopranos. People expected Tony to be in prison or continue with a lifetime of gangster success. Instead, he got wacked.
Ted Lasso --- the ending most people wanted was for a way for the relationships to continue. It was magic and about people we cared for. Instead, everybody wins except Ted who sacrifices his greater future for time with his son.
Peter Call Saul. Selfish Jimmy, should have never ended in prison because he sacrificed his life chances for his ex.
Which brings us to Shiv.... the most unqualified to lead the firm. Throughout the series, we know that none of them should even be oput in charge of a box of Chiclets. But Ken is the most qualified. Then Shiv, the least qualified, wins.
Remind you of an Orange Anus?

(19,058 posts)Very good series. This was my 2nd time picking up even more about one of the most powerful families in Europe at the time of the Renaissance.
The art, the history, warring families, and the politics of the time bear some relevance to things happening today.

(22,971 posts)I hate to come to the end. I've really been enjoying this show.
I heartily recommend Orphan Black to those who haven't seen it. Give it a couple of episodes and the characters grow on you.

(10,402 posts)It is an interesting show that is about Dr Jerry Buss and the Los Angeles Lakers of the 80s. I am really enjoying it, John C. Reilly as Jerry Buss, Adrian Brody as Pat Riley among others with smaller roles. I'm about 6 episodes in. I just saw they are producing season 2.
Peace

We also just finished Still Open All Hours. Very funny! If you watched the original Open All Hours, many of the same actors are in this sequel (as are some of the gags, like the man eating cash register)

(9,287 posts)It's a light-hearted police show set in a beautiful rural part of Germany. I lived in Germany for years growing up so it is especially poignant for me.
