Hi everyone! I just subscribed. I'm here to exchange ideas and read reviews
I'll start by posting a few quick blurbs on things I've been watching:
Apple TV: Bad Sisters (big thumbs up! What do you do when someone is so bad that they must die?)
Severance (fantastic! Looking very forward to season 2. Anyone who has worked for a huge corporation will identify
with at least some of the elements of this show."
Slow Horses (another big thumbs up! This show surprised me, I didn't expect to enjoy it! Seasons 1 & 2 are
available. It deals with member of MI6 that have screwed up one way or another and have now been relegated to the
worst (as in least interesting) work. Turns out, even agents given busy work can be dragged into important cases.)
Ted Lasso: It is every bit good as the hype. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll pray for spin-offs
Shrinking: Tried to like this one. Just couldn't get into it. It's OK, but I'm losing motivation to watch it.
Are there Apple shows I've missed? I like comedies, dramas, fantasy, anime, and thrillers, if they are not too bloody.
I hate cruelty and gore and excessive violence.
OK, it's late and I'm tired, I'll resume my blurbs tomorrow. In the meantime, are there other Apple shows I should check out? I don't like a lot of violence and I hate gore.
I also hate any form of cruelty to animals, especially if played for laughs. I enjoy comedies, drama, and thrillers, if they aren't too bloody.

(13,848 posts)Now we are on The Sopranos.
Sad thing, actress playing Olivia, Tony's mother, was dying of lung cancer during the filming of the show. One of the lines she recited during season 2, "I wish God would take me now."
These are fun to re-watch. Among other things, there are great comedic lines and scenarios that were missed the first time.

And welcome.
