Just watched Gotti on Netflix

There are 3 episodes each about 45 minutes long.
I didn't know much about the story so it was quite an eye opener.
There are three take aways. Our news media is the same; the general public really does like a con artist and someone we all know was talking notes.

I've watched the first two episodes, will watch the third soon.

I was young when this was going on, so only have vague memories of the events at the time, but I do remember some of it, which is really interesting.

My SO and I have watched the Soprano's several times, and recognize the origin of several of the characters. There are a lot of other interesting parallels. David Chase really did his research!

Don't watch if you want a Disney ending.

arrested in NYC while wearing his mustard-colored topcoat? And how he was smashed up against the glass at Dean & DeLuca by the FBI when they arrested him?

I ask because I was on the phone with the RG at the time. He was drinking his espresso at Dean & DeLuca and I was at home. While we were talking, the RG said, "Some guy just got smashed up against the glass; it looks like he's being arrested!" I said let's stay on the phone.

We did and pretty soon the RG said "It's John Gotti!" It was the FBI.

He will never forget that visual--Gotti's face flattened against the glass while he was trying to enjoy his espresso.
