A raunchy rom-com just in time for St. Valentine's Day
"Plus One." I thought this one was pretty funny. Here's my review and a trailer.

(5,182 posts)I liked it. I'm a fan of Quaid from The Boys, so it was nice to see him in a different role.
It was tropey and predictable, but I liked it. Not my type of movie, but I kept coming back to watch it with her, so there's that.

(2,964 posts)I have a hard time staying awake for movies but I made it through rather easily. I have a question about one of the actors in the movie. Maybe I missed it but I noticed comedian Allan Havey at the very very end of the movie at the Father's Wedding. He used to host a show on "The Comedy Channel" before it merged with "HA" to become "Comedy Central". Did I miss where he actually talks in the movie or did he get edited out? LOL He is listed in the credits. Maybe he was one of the golfers and I just didn't notice him earlier. Weird.
They list him playing a character called "Hannon." No more info. Sorry.

(2,964 posts)He was one of the Dad's Golf buddies. He's kind of blocked by the headrest when the son picks them all up in his car and has to do an awkward angle when talking about "You know where to go" I must have blinked. I was thinking at the time how are they going to get 5 grown men in that Prius.
