Looks fun,

(12,598 posts)Two episodes in - it captures the feel of the game, even the combat mechanics, and has this "Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt: Fury Road" quality.
Walton Goggins is chewing up the scenery so far.

(106,328 posts)He really steals the screen from nearly anyone else. If you saw him on Justified, you know how much he was missed in the series sequel last year and how excited fans of the original show were when he showed up in the last episode.
I won't say he stole the show from its star, Timothy Olyphant, but boy does he know how to steal scenes.
I might just have to watch this Amazon Prime show--especially since it is "free to me."

(12,598 posts)Heads getting popped and limbs blown off. And there is a scene of offscreen animal cruelty (the dog survives otherwise I wouldve tapped out)

(19,263 posts)I'm 5 eps in and will most likely finish the series in a single binge. I'm quite sure it is not for everyone.

(16,284 posts)The production accurately captures the variety of Fallout environments in found in 3, 4, and NV.
It's certainly watchable, especially for fans of the game. It has its full share of cults, assorted weirdos, and offbeat encounters that are features of the games. The storyline is OK if not overly compelling.
There's obviously going to be a New Vegas followup.
Walton Goggins maintains the same presence displayed in both Justified and The Shield.
4 (maybe 4 1/2) thumbs up for me.
BTW, if you haven't seen Shogun on Hulu, you're missing an excellent story. That one is *****.
