Anyone watch "Bodkin" on Netflix?
I just saw the first episode last night and it shows promise. A quirky Irish murder mystery. Is it worth continuing?

It is certainly not a cookie cutter production and the unique characters did keep me engaged.
I was curious why the Obama's company co-produced it but towards the end it really did have something to say.

Quirky? Great. Quirky is my middle name.
TBH, I would watch anything the Obamas produced, just out of curiosity.
Here is a list of their productions and a few paragraphs about their objectives for Higher Ground:

I grew up in a little Irish town so this will be fun. In addition, I enjoy films when the female lead has a bad attitude.
Kind of offbeat, and a bit convoluted. But overall, a good watch.

Hope you love it!

(12,876 posts)I thoroughly enjoyed bingeing it and it's my current recommendation to people I know. It's a lot like the second season of The Tourist in that it depends heavily on Irish people keeping secrets, resulting in violence.
