The new version of "Let it be" is supposed to be great.

I read a short article about it in the New Yorker. It's a recut version of it by Peter Jackson. Not the 8-hour "Get Back" which was amazing. This one is supposed to have a much happier vibe to it. Has anyone seen it? It's on Disney.

I understood it is a remaster of the original 1970 movie. The full Get Back mini-series was ALL of the footage shot for the 1970 movie that was not used.

That was just depressing. At the end I said to myself, "Yea, it's time for them to break up."

So, knowing the full story of what went on, it made it easier to watch the shorter version
