Has anyone watched the series "The Boys" on Prime?
I'm three episodes in and really enjoying it. It's a cynical look at superheroes. In this case, they're been turned into a for-profit franchise and are for the most part, pretty corrupt. That's all I'll say about it.

(17,729 posts)It's an insane, roller coaster ride of a series that probes the darkest tendencies of our society. The second and third seasons definitely mirror current events. I'm a big fan, but, admittedly, the show isn't for everyone. It's brutally graphic with over the top violence and sexual content that might turn off squeamish viewers.

Son told me about it weeks ago and I've caught up waiting for next episode.
3 of 5 stars for the series.
Not as upsetting as real national politics this year

Its a great show. Homelander is sociopath, and the actor playing him is nothing short of fantastic in the role.

On the other, some very insightful takes on current events.
