Those who like international series--highly recommend "Trapped" on Amazon Prime

The second season of this topical crime procedural set in a small village in Iceland has just been released.
This is a very well done Icelandic series with English subtitles--worth sitting down to watch even if it makes multi-tasking while watching difficult.
The lead character is a big burly soft-hearted but dogged police investigator-- very compellingly played by Ólafur Darri Ólafsson--who I presume is quite well known in Iceland.
Give it a look!

(12,285 posts)I find it impossible to "multitask." Too much is packed into every minute.

(38,922 posts)I wasn't aware Iceland had any small villages overpopulated with criminals.
With its clapboard cottages and picture perfect harbour, Cabot Cove seems an idyllic location. But the New England seaside town has been named the murder capital of the world, more dangerous even than the mean streets of Honduras.

(106,333 posts)much of the western world, including the US. Its setting could just as well have been the upper Midwest of the US or elsewhere.
I know how British police serials make crime seem ridiculously prevalent for small villages of the UK, though. This is really not that.

(2,314 posts)but I just have to say I am so upset about who got killed in Ep. 9 of Season 2!!
I kept hoping it was all a ruse and it was someone elses body that burned.
But no!! Just broke my heart, when a possible heart connection was looming.
