A Simple Favor now on Amazon...
I watched this last night. It's a modern murder mystery starring Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively. Their description:
A SIMPLE FAVOR, directed by Paul Feig, centers around Stephanie (Anna Kendrick), a mommy vlogger who seeks to uncover the truth behind her best friend Emily's (Blake Lively) sudden disappearance from their small town. Stephanie is joined by Emily's husband Sean (Henry Golding) in this stylish thriller filled with twists and betrayals, secrets and revelations, love and loyalty, murder and revenge.
The acting was great and although not entirely predictable, the film took a Lifetime Movie turn in my opinion. Meaning the last few minutes are not all that realistic. Not bad overall.
Anyone see it?

OP
It is a fun movie. The story is entertaining although Kendrick's character defies reason to me.

Still, it's a great movie to watch on a cold or rainy night and you just want to unwind with a movie.

IIRC is was oddly inconsistent in tone, sometimes goofy, sometimes creepy. Anna Kendrick is always worth watching, usually carrying whatever film she's in. Why can't a film carry her some day?

big. But I found that aspect fun. Thanks for posting about.

just wish they could fix the end of most of them.

love.
