The only mistake I think they made was giving her daughter the name Esther. People in NYC were not naming their daughters Esther in the 1950's. Karen, Sharon, Leslie, Lisa, Cathy, Michelle, Lori....those were the mid-century names.

It just isn't believable to me that someone as edgy as her character would name a child Esther.

But they got everything else right.
