For KINKY recovering alcoholics and addicts of any stripe...

www.ritl.org

"Recovery in the Lifestyle is a fellowship of BDSM lifestyle people who are in recovery, or would like to be, and their guests. RitL follows the steps of recovery and respects the great importance of anonymity for many of us.

Our fellowship is based on AAWS-approved 12 Steps and 12 Traditions. Anyone who is in the lifestyle and participates in ANY 12 Step R4eovery group is eligible for membership in RitL."

As a alcoholic and addict, as well as a BDSM Dominant, I find RitL an excellent supplement to my regular AA meetings. Sometimes I do not feel comfortable sharing what I need to share in a church basement, with folks I may see in the market (I hold my lifestyle anonymity as close to the vest as I do my alcoholic anonymity). Meeting with 2 or 3 addicts who are also in the lifestyle increases the sense of fellowship, at least for me.
