1. this isn't an Ativan problem, it's an ER doctor problem

Ativan is good for short term or occasional sleep problems, similar to Valium or Xanax. But when he saw he was having a chronic problem or needing an increasing dose to get the same effect plus having anxiety, he should have gone to psychiatrist. There are sleep-inducing medications that have no addiction potential.

Also, the doctor gave him two benzodiazapines at the same time. Big, potentially deadly, mistake. Know what you are taking and what the risks are. Don't be so focused on Ativan that you end up taking something else with the same problem or avoid other drugs that may help you.

from Ativan but from some other medical problems, could even be his gall bladder. His doctors should start looking at his other problems. Give him a cat scan.

which can cause sleep problems and Ativan does nothing for. He should at least get a general checkup.

One quote: "Nobody in the psych ward knew what Benzo withdrawal is like"
..That is about half way through the video. It is not true. Bezos are very common drugs prescribed everywhere. When this person says that, it is clear to me, as someone who knows a great deal about these drugs, that people in the psych ward not knowing "what benzo withdrawal is like"
...Would be similar to people in an ER not knowing what........" addiction to booze is like"...
People in ERs see booze addiction all the time. People in ERs know what booze addiction is like

This story about people in the psych ward not knowing what Benzo withdrawal is like is a lie... This is extremely dangerous. Just because it is at You Tube, does not make it the truth.
