Related: About this forumI am soooo tired.
Along with tired comes depressed. I'm adding another thing to the list of stuff I can't do any more. I can't even put away groceries. I hate these things that are growing in me.
This is the first day in a long time that the depression has gotten a hold on me. I've got to do something to get me out of this funk. Any suggestions?
i felt a need to come in and read your post, and i need to not just walk out again, even though there really is nothing i can say.
i am so sorry, that you are so tired and feel so bad.
i hear ya, anyway.
i feel you.

(37,540 posts)I can only offer up my best wishes. I would suggest taking some walks outdoors, but maybe that would be too strenuous? Perhaps trying a new indoor hobby, like knitting or sewing?

(3,311 posts)Some music has a physiological effect on me and can lift my spirits. Enya, particularly, is good for this. "A Day Without Rain" and "Shepherd Moons" are especially effective.

(53,060 posts)grocery store and take a motorized cart and slowly go up and down the aisles. I wasn't eating any solid food, but I sure did look at it! I would just image what things tasted like and how I was going to eat them again.
So go to the movies or just nap. I know depression is hard to fight.

(5,673 posts)I know I get some strange looks from people when I'm riding one. I try to look as healthy as possible when I'm out - make-up, nice clothes, a smile. People just don't know that I couldn't walk to the end of the aisle and back.
I'm out of my down mood today. Thank goodness it didn't hang on long. I decided it was because my toenails were too long. I felt so much better after I did a little pedi this morning.
Thanks, everyone, for being here. cmd
