Sigh. I'm so freaking terrified of cancer. I think theres a name for it.
I had a back xray and they found a calcified fibroid I'm supposed to follow up with on OBgyn. I'm going to do that. Despite my terror. They're a supposedly benign tumor. I had no clue I had fibroid s, but did have heavy periods.
Still awaiting Mr X's biopsy for a cyst found under a tooth. I can't stand it.

(21,576 posts)I’m giving you the same energy someone dear gave me when I had my problems with fibroids. Started when I was younger so the need to get checked now is what I gotta do. Whatever is the verdict, get a second opinion..it’s your right and it will help you in the end. You will be just fine after you know what you’re dealing with and your imagination isn’t going in every direction. ((hugs))

It is good you’re getting it checked, will be thinking of you. Stay focused but try to stay positive—I know it’s hard!

Honestly it didn’t help when she googled it. So try not to do that. !
It wasn’t that it was bad news, just unclear. I’ve found women’s health stuff considered obgyn is very confusing online.
