When I worked as an RN we ran a thyroid panel on our new psych admits to rule out dysthalmia. Which is an old fashioned word, I'm not sure I spelled right, for depression caused by low thyroid.

Happy day for you. The range and reference for norm is like 0.5 to 5. Wide range. Most of the time if you are anywhere between they won't medicate you. I have a feeling lots of people are under diagnosed and suffering for it.
