Related: About this forumI see the TMJ dentist Monday
I'm really nervous. They ran a bunch of diagnostic tests a few weeks ago. Now I hear the results. The orthotic device is, at least, $6100. I need a new night guard.
Its affecting my mental health. My left jaw clicks when I chew.

(8,397 posts)1. Hope you issues are resolved. I was really hoping that Dental and Vision would be
included in Medicare. Dental is so expensive these days....as is almost everything.

Perhaps a $60 - $100 massage might help, even if it takes a few or regular treatments, would be less than a device that you feel much discomfort about. Seriously, but also personally, when I have that much stress over a thing it often ends up being something I would be better off without.
Just saying, do what you feel comfortable about.
