You are a remarkable human being who always deserves love. You certainly give it freely.

Hope so. Make an appointment with a family MD for a thorough check-up. Ask the Dr for a referral to a good therapist, especially if your life situation has become overwhelming and you feel hopeless.

Carve out some time for yourself to relax and stop worrying. .

anemia, low potassium, blood sugar, etc can all effect how you feel, your energy level etc. If you are overweight that too. Don't know your age, but as we get older, the body just simply wears out. It is to be expected. Nothing lasts forever, including us.

I'm a Buddhist, so I've been taught not to be surprised when life seems unsatisfactory. Welcome to samsara, our current realm of suffering. And so it goes, life after life until we reach enlightenment. Everyone else is in the same boat with us. We are all suffering, grasping at ego, chasing after stuff that we think will make us happy, but actually turns out to be impermanent and unsatisfactory. Except for a very very few people, who are living Buddhas, like the Dalai Lama.

The good news about samsara is that it is a target rich environment to work altruistically for the benefit and happiness of others. And that is where compassion comes in. Recognizing that we are all suffering. We are all in this together. Everyone wants to be happy and to not suffer. I meditate everyday to look at my thoughts and to realize that thoughts are not really real. They are just thoughts without any mass. So can't be weighed on a scale. Obsessive thoughts are not helpful to our well-being. So I label them as not helpful. It's very very important to set our mental state to be at peace. To practice patience. I'll leave you with the Buddhist 4 Immeasurable Thoughts that are part of my daily meditation practice.

* May all beings be free of suffering, and free of the causes and conditions of suffering.
* May all beings be happy, and have the causes and conditions of happiness.
* May all beings appreciate the success, happiness, and well-being of others.
* May all beings rest in the equanimity and peace of mind with no attachments and no aversions.

Another DUer on the other end of messaging system, no questions asked, for however long it takes.

Some issues are kind of private, some short or long duration.

Make an appointment or call a help-line for immediate assistance. Do you have a hot-line phone number?

Breathe, breathe again, practice mindfulness, visualization, focus on something (music, a pet, etc), take a walk, count to ten, start over and repeat until you get professional help. Take small steps, don't force yourself to accomplish more than you can handle and be kind to yourself.

I have a couple phone calls to return today from DUrs. Your words help also!
Sometimes I just “ hit the wall “ and I’m done, and LilBit is the Energizer Bunny, she still keeps going on. We will be ok, because the truth is, DU has given us more support than Florida Medicaid.
