Home now from Psyche visit, was kinda a big breakthrough.
Because, I took charge, of my mental health. He wanted to prescribed more meds.
( Disclaimer, this is VA Dr)
I said, NO,, the drugs are screwing me up, everyone wants to give me more, drugs. He replied, " so what do you need?"
I said, " I need to sit down , with a Dr, and a bariatric specialist, and ask, why all these pills, you send,? I don't have a stomach, are all these pills, being absorbed, by my body?"
He said" ok" and walked my to the front desk, made an appt with, MD, Bariatic Surgeon, and him. Fairly easy.
Maybe, I have a good Psych, think I do..
But, until I, stood up for me,and my health, strongly,
It would have just been, another script.
I'm far from perfect, I'm at the point, when I walk I to a Dr office,
I've made up my mind, to slow the Dr. down.they get paid for visits, am I getting paid, to be there? OFf course not.
I'm not gonna, pay them with, my life, or prescribed meds, that may accelerate my final days? Nope,
I know my body, my mind, better than anyone,
NEVER be afraid, to walk into an appt, with an attitude!
It's, their job, it's, your life
It felt good, to care, for Me.
