Ever lose something precious

Like, literally misplace it, and you have no clue where? I lost an irreplaceable photo I thought was on the table. I'm grieving its loss. I've looked everywhere for it. It just vanished. Its driving me crazy and very disturbing and depressing.

Missing forever are a jade tie-tack that I recall was my Dad's. No doubt in a parking lot. Oh, notes on massage from our departed masseur friend, and the ticket stub from Earl Wilson's no-hit game.

I scanned all the family photo prints I could find.

Best of luck with your photo. Look in and around books and flyers, in pockets, and under placemats. My list today includes a 3 quart cast iron saucepan, all my usb-c adapters, and an Apple Pencil.

OK the Apple Pencil just turned up in a backpack.

I won't look for the others today, but will spend a few minutes sending positive thoughts that your photo shows up.

Best of luck.

Backpack?

Especially things that I feel are important and irreplaceable. But, it still happens. Just relax and remember that it is around somewhere, and when the gremlins decide to they will give it back.

I was in and out of the hospital for a few years for up to 2 months at a time not long ago. Not fun although they kept me loaded up on a steady diet alternating oxycodone and dilaudid which didn't exactly help with memory. Anyway, at the end of a hospitalization I realized my wallet was missing.

Ended up replacing a lot of things although much remained irreplaceable. About four months later I grabbed some clothing that sat in a pile and discovered I'd left the wallet at home to insure it wasn't stolen while I was incapacitated. Doi.

Hopefully your photo turns up soon. Any chance a family member may have moved it?

I hope you're doing better. No, no chance. I make myself feel better by telling myself its somewhere. Which doesn't help me

Thanks for the well wishes. All good, medical marijuana saved the day. Haven't had to be hospitalized since starting it, have no plans of ever going back. Hope the photo turns up for you. It may help to put it out of your mind if that's possible?
