I'm at the point where NOTHING is easing my red-line anxiety

I see my therapist on the 8th.

Meanwhile, I'll just have to cope. I did manage to eat a bagel without throwing up, which is something stress and anxiety tend to trigger.

I'm fighting the urge to go back to bed. Unfortunately, I've got too much stuff to take care of. If the grass dries enough, I'll mow the lawns. If it warms up enough I'll do some garden work. I am forcing myself to NOT watch the news. Distract, distract, distract.

Everyone is busy, this weekend, so I'm on my own and it's going to rain. I'll try losing myself by binge watching SOMETHING. Maybe dig around On Demand for some good classic films. Hopefully the kidcats will accommodate my current emotional state and cuddle instead of cause mischief. Well, I can dream, can't I?

This is definitely not how I planned spending my waning years on earth. My kidcats deserve much better.

I just mowed the house lawn AND the back lot, which is a pretty big piece of land. I never do both at the same time but I had to concentrate on what I was doing so my brain had to put its spin cycle on hold.

I think a hot soak in a bath of lavender scented Epsom Salts might be next on my agenda. Laundry can wait until tomorrow.

Is a good idea.

I smoke pot when I get tense, it helps a bit, sometimes I just use the CBD hemp, in tea, and that calms me down some too.

We have several days of dreary rain and cloudy weather, like into the middle of next week. Ugh.

At least I go to lunch with my neighbor today, that will be a nice change of scenery.

I hope the kitties come to your aid when you finally settle in for couch potato time!

It is HORRIBLE. Turn off the news. I did. Well, I peek sometimes to see if TFG is suffering. But I'm watching Bonanza and aliens. ID love to have a garden!

Your cats love you no matter what. I'm not one to talk. I take a benzo 3x a day.

Deep breaths.

I've been watching the nature and science shows, taking a break from resting up my healing shoulder.

I'm having to skip getting flowering plants this year, can no more tend to them than I could a feline.

Just don't trip and fall...
