Hope you're enjoying weekend. Just returned to 'city' (suburb) from afternoon at cottage, turned a/c on, checked out stuff previous tenants left for me, and will return as soon as I can. Painters may be working on it next week, and family stuff happening, so will grab moments when I can.

Must get lounge chairs for porch for my relax with river view. Saw 4 deer running around cornfield as we left!

and was getting discouraged, having been to 2 shops and 1 large store yesterday, and looking at THOUSANDS of examples on-line last night!

Family had a nice set for our deck in DC, 20+ years ago, so trying to duplicate the type of chair (a mistake!!!) Was a set w rocker + chaise + 'chair,' and of course saw nothing like it! Was NOT an expensive 'set,' and no idea where we picked it up lo those many years ago, for our beautiful home.

SO, with some sense of frustration and dread, and the weather forecast today not being good so not able to go to cottage, I got the brilliant idea to look for chair(s) at CVS!!!! (Can't believe I was out of bed @ 7:30. NEVER happens!) And there it was, 'my' blue plastic chaise lounge, for only $25.00!!! And with the energy from success, checked Kohls for more chairs, and sheets, and found NOTHING! Nice personnel, but not a chair remaining, and set of right-size sheets (calif. king) $200????!!!!

SO, on to K.Mart, where in front of store is a stack of nice, neat, light-weight 'garden' patio chairs, $15 each! Sat in one on way out, after had been moved from the stack, and will return later today w friend, to be sure the 'sit' works for both of us. AND, SHEETS! Right size, $36.00!!! (Not my best color, as I don't usually do pink, but its kind of sandy-pink, so I can live with it.) And affordable pillows.

You might be able to tell from this dissertation I don't usually shop, do it as seldom as possible.

As to when I can get settled in, dunno, fizz. Cottage interior being painted next week(s) while owner away, AND tho I could stay there now with sheets (and sofas are there, and lights, etc.,) won't REALLY be settled in until after husb's apartment stuff has been removed from DC, which won't occur until after daughters and I meet there, I'm informed who wants what, and I have mover do the job. We all may be meeting this coming weekend (one lives in NJ, one near me in MD) (before and during which time I'll be here asking for hand-holding, due to bad relations between daughters, as well as their deep sadness.) Will be VERY pleased to have everyone's lists settled, and meet with mover for estimate. SO, practically speaking, won't likely be moved until end August or later, and will be very happy if can happen then, as paying husb's apt. rent now. And THEN settled in!

Get it? Got it! GOOD!!!

such a draining and often unrewarding torment. i had to go to the place that shall not be named (starts with a w and rhymes with fart) to pick up some stuff for camping and could not get out of there fast enough.

moving is stressful enough on its own, but you'll have more stress piled up on top of that, you know we'll be here for you.

i hope you can take the rest of the day to get in some relaxation.

Its next week when I'll need help!

and as to shopping, I'm a very quick shopper, 'I know it when I see it,' and I know when its not there, so I get the hell out. THANK GOODNESS the w place was not among my options, and few people @ CVS + K.Mart registers today.
