1. that's such a great feeling

i've been on generic lamictal and trileptal for years (five bucks each for a month's supply), but the abilify was still $25 a month (always needed refilled around rent time, too). got my first fill of generics this month and it's only five bucks a month now.

my cost savings are not as noticeable as yours, but it's still a good feeling.

6. You are correct that drug therapy for mental issues is the first line

of defense.
You are also correct that one must give any prescribed drugs a fair chance to do their work.
That some do not correct the problem is known, and even the trained psycho-pharmacist may not figure out the answer for some individuals.
Hanging in and not giving up hope when one wants to throw in the towel is the most likely way to health.

and totally get the importance and value of drug therapy.
In fact, surprised to hear that "some people" are against it.

In any event, very pleased for you that low cost generics are available.
I save a lot on my generic HBP meds, too.

12. I was at one time paying hundreds of dollars a month for meds...

... and that was with inurance.

For a few awful years my wife and I together were paying thousands for pharmaceuticals.

I was so happy when my meds finally went generic, and all I had was a $10 co-pay. One of my meds costs only $7.00, so insurance doesn't have to pay anything.
