(18,575 posts)We did it because Impotus and GOPs were getting us down. We have all stuck with it ( 20 mins twice a day) for the last couple of months. They both had trouble sleeping and meditation improved it for them. I just feel generally better.
Here is one of my favorite cozy series authors for when I need a break from hardcore murder mysteries: Rhys Bowen. She has a sense of humor.

(2,312 posts)But stuff very far removed from reality, like Laurie R. King's Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes series. When at my most anxious, I found these stories took me away into another world, and trying to figure out who somebody really was kept my racing mind busy.

(20,219 posts)Ive been dissociating a lot. That and isolating. Drifting off in fantasies of being productive. Ha!
This wave of exhaustion hits and I go to bed. Its been bad lately and I have no energy to pull out. My meditating isnt pulling me out; it helps me feel better but pulling out takes effort.
