Got rid of the COVID 15 and now down to

a BMI of 24. Lost 27 pounds in 3 or 4 months.

I couldn't get my hunger under control until I broke down and went Keto. That did get it under control and now eating a better diet. No more bacon, I wasn't a pork eater, and sugar, along with wheat products. Didn't have to give up potatoes as I didn't eat them before.

Eating less protein, I'm now drinking 2 Protein drinks/day. Yum, chocolate and peanut butter flavor. Few calories and very low carb with lots of fiber. Now more of a calorie counter. Also back to fish and chicken and more veggies.

Still jog 3 or 4 times a week. Just longer distance and faster than before.

Didn't take long after cutting way back on carbs to get it under control.

I think you have to find out what works for you.

That one donut a day and sugar in my coffee were the only really hard ones. But, as I like to say. Eat to live, don't live to eat.

Allow yourself to eat as many as you want after supper. Minimal calories and it’s good for you. Just stay away from the sugary and heavy carb snacks.

Although I'm doing South Beach, which let's you have a few whole grain, non processed carbs. I'm down 40 lbs. and feel great! My doctor is ecstatic about my blood work, too! I would love to lose 60 more, but not going to put too much pressure on myself.

I have found that I truly don't miss potatoes, bread or pasta anymore. They taste really bland now.

I also started drinking a lot more water (up to 100 oz. a day) and I drink coffee only in the morning. Haven't had soda in a long time.

Congrats on your weight loss!
