I should say hi!

I'm semi new to DU, been around lurking for a while but I started posting a few weeks back.

I'm a 20 year old man who's been "fat" since...well, around age 5. Been struggling with weight since childhood. Was 200 pounds at age 10.

I'm currently 339 pounds, roughly, and I'm 6'2. I've got a big gut but it could be worse. I've been working out and following my own weight loss plan of "don't eat all the food" and my own home work out plan(I Have no transportation to a gym, and I find going to a gym de motivates me more).

My exercises are simple due to my back injury(bilateral sciatica - makes walking extremely painful if it's more then 5 minutes).

I just thought I would introduce myself. \o

Good luck to you and to us all - it's really a hard thing to have an issue with weight in our society where we get umpteen messages a day to consume, consume consume! We really have to tune all that out and find our own true center. Thats my goal every day.
