I almost jumped out of bed this morning at the thought that I could use my new jar of kimchi on a breakfast egg.

So I did, and it was great!! Eggs were fresh plus I grated Cheddar over it. A few slices of thinly sliced ham on the side.

However, this was followed by a few morning disappointments, namely the sugar free strawberry jam, which I put on 21-seed toast. Sigh. Gotta' get used to a world without sugar.

Hey! Maybe I can mix in some of my new monk fruit sweetener.

On my second cup of French roast decaf.

Hippywife, I saw a carton of mocha coffee at the store today. $2.99, I think. I'd rather make it; just thought it was interesting that they are now selling it pre-made.

I had some ambrosia salad hours ago. Husband was craving breakfast burritos, which he hasn't asked for in years. Had some whole wheat soft taco tortillas in the bread box, so scrambled up a couple sausage patties and a couple eggs, topped with cheese in the skillet and let it melt while I heated the tortillas over the burner. That and a small bit of salsa was all he wanted on them.
