What's for Dinner, Mon., Mar. 20, 2023

Going out for dinner with a friend to a Brazilian restaurant. Been there a few times before, so looking forward to a good experience.

And yes, I'm taking my pomegranate kombucha with me since they don't have that kind of tea nor do they even have a liquor license.

TJ has two pizza crusts and has decided to make pizza. The crusts appear to have already been baked rather than being dough.

Not sure of the toppings, there is pepperoni, mozzarella, and canned tomato sauce out on the counter.

that throwing chicken thighs in the oven with lemon, rosemary, whatever thing I was considering the other day.

I did bake this blueberry banana bread today. Just came out of the oven a few minutes ago:

ETA: Cher, now that you've set the precedent of reporting back from a restaurant trip, you have to report back on this one tonight.

we took the meat off then made chicken stock out of the carcass and made chicken rice soup today. We've been buying loaves of take and bake ciabatta bread which will go good with the soup.

pounded thin and fried in butter, with lemon juice and parsley added later. Risi Bisi (rice and peas), also with parsley, a little parmesan on top and some leftover pan sauce drizzled over that.

One chicken breast, serving 2. I don't know if it's healthy, but it's cheap, fast, and good.
