I love the Texas Pink grapefruits. I have a Pink grapefruit tree in the back but not sure of the exact type.

yet consistently. At this early stage, one friend likes yellow more.

Not available in most markets.

but will eat the pink. DH, on the other hand, doesn't believe there's enough sugar in the world to tolerate any level of grapefruit. So, either one is mine, all mine. So is any grepefruit juice I buy, and the Fresca for my Paloma cocktails.

I don't mind.

Grapefruit and pomegranate screw up the absorption of many medications. Be careful with it.

That way, I don't feel deprived, and my doctor says as long as I don't wash down my meds with a tall glass of grapefruit juice the occasional one is not going to be bad. I only eat the yellow ones, which are hard to find. Anyway, I can still pick them up and smell them.

so I don't get it very often.

I much prefer the Ruby Red.

When I fix it, I slice it in big slices then cut the slices in half. So much easier than scooping it out. and you get all the fiber.

My daughter's in-laws have a grapefruit tree which bears wonderful fruit. When we are there during the harvest time, I bring home a bunch to my friends.
