Fiddleheads are here!

Sorry my attempt to post a picture didn’t work - they are beautiful. A friend came by to share his foraged ferns. My dinner plans turned on a dime. It’s fiddleheads for me tonight!

(And potatoes and ham.)

once they became a thing... foragers pretty much decimated the wild fiddleheads in our woods... that makes me sad
