(23,029 posts)I'm eating healthier and feel better. It's all about keeping track of what you eat, even if it means recording a bad overindulgence. Believe me, that's really hard to do when you have been out to dinner with friends and a bottle of wine.

There are a huge number of zero point foods - very satisfying foods. Not just veg and fruits. All veg except potatoes & sweet potatoes; all fruits; eggs; fat free plain yogurt; fat free cottage cheese; every dried bean you could imagine; Chicken and turkey breast;
If I plan it right I can have several low point days, feeling quite satisfied and eat a big meal without worrying.
This is my 3rd round. The first time, I lost 60 pounds (2007); I got lazy and it crept up on me to the point of a 20 pound gain in 2014. I went back to the plan and lost the 20 in time for my daughter's wedding in July 2015.
