Posting a little early because we've had several thunderstorms, so in case I get knocked off the internet, at least I'll have this done. (thunder rumbling from the east now)
I'm cleaning out both refrigerators and making a fun thing out of it. I find little bits of this and that and dream up some sort of mini-meal with it. I've made a caprese salad with mozzarella and basil and broccoli and garlic in peanut sauce with pasta.
Some sort of stir fry vegetables coming up next.
Might post back with other creative ventures.

(15,316 posts)takeout tom ka kai soup, which I am going to incorporate into a casserole over some carrots, potatoes, onions, and green beans. I've done that a couple of times in the past and it's surprisingly good! Also a salad of lettuces, radish, summer squash, tomato and slices of the last 3 strawberries and a mandarin orange.

I am dry marinating a beef brisket for the smoker tomorrow. Homemade mac & cheese with a tossed salad.
