What's for Dinner, Sat., July 15, 2023

This menu is for a hot evening.

Sesame-crusted tofu triangles with wasabi-miso dipping sauce.

Walnut sauce over mozzarella topped zoodles.

Plain lettuce and iced, salted cucumbers to munch on for a side. The lettuce is very crispy. It's been in cold ice water in the frig.

Tart cherry kombucha.

Dessert: Dark chocolate bar, iced decaf.

We get a weekly farm box but even though it's the smallest they offer, we're hard pressed to use it all. Yesterday's box included a bunch of potatoes and a bag of fresh, cut mixed salad greens, so I'm going to use some of both tonight.

Got the kit from Costco. I'm going to Tennessee tomorrow so husband wanted something with leftovers.

Turkey and dressing.
The dressing in the form of rissoles.
Basically cornbread dressing made into patties and Sauteed in a little butter or oil.
A little crispy on the outside. Try it.
An elderly German lady first prepared them for us.

Roasted broccoli and a tomato avocado salad.
Greek yogurt and fruit for 'afters'.

Bon Appetit, y'all.
