Beef bulgogi. I ran across some super-fresh bean sprouts and I love them so decided to have this. As you know, it has sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, lotsa' garlic, a little brown sugar, and scallions in it, in addition to the bean sprouts and beef.
Korean radish salad.
Pomegranate kombucha.
Dessert: raspberries and mandarin orange slices with toasted almond slices.
Decaf coffee.

(1,760 posts)I dressed some cucumbers with rice vinegar, tamari and ginger, and also (not finding the kimchi I thought we had) mixed some cabbage and radishes with rice vinegar, salt and gochugaru pepper. We'll see how it turns out.
Cher, I'd be interested in your radish salad. Your dinner sounds great!

Here's my recipe:
Korean Radish Salad
3 1/2 cups Korean Radish (daikon) ; Peeled and Cut Into Matchsticks
1 tbsp. Salt
2 ea. Garlic Cloves ; Minced
1 ea. Scallion ; Sliced Thin
1 tbsp. Rice Vinegar
2 tsp. Gochujang
2 tsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Sesame Seeds ; Toasted
1. Peel radish and cut into matchsticks. Add salt, toss and set aside for 5 minutes.
2. Drain the radish and squeeze out excess moisture. Add garlic, scallion, vinegar, gochujang, sugar, and sesame seeds. Toss to combine.
Serve immediately, or refrigerate.

(18,111 posts)To be honest I nodded off for a while afterwards, hence my late post. We did the dinner tonight because TJ has to go in in the wee hours tomorrow night. I invited FLFC's best buddy to join us.
We had turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, stuffing, corn pudding, macaroni and cheese and other stuff.

(71,021 posts)She was diagnosed with Covid yesterday. We may be allowed to visit on Saturday or Sunday. I have not been cooking much...just simple stuff. My husband doesn't want me to go as I had heart surgery in early April to replace a bad valve. It was genetic. I had it my entire life.
However, I can't stand to think of her dying alone. So today I was home all day as I have been exposed myself...so no dinner with the kids this year. I made a comfort meal of lightly 'fried' chicken with white gravy (WW friendly) baked beans and mixed vegetables...sugarless chocolate pudding with a tiny bit of peppermint bark broken up and added for dessert to the pudding with whipped cream.
It tasted great and was comforting. I will make a turkey for hubs and me tomorrow, as well as a pumpkin pie, and give thanks that both of us are healthy and that no matter what my sister-in-law is not suffering. Happy Thanksgiving everybody.
I hope you stay Covid-free and that you get to visit your SIL. These are very tough circumstances to have to endure over a holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. I am thankful for the, 'What's for dinner posts.' Although I have not posted much lately, I read them every day. Thanks Cher.
