instead of just snacking.
Making some Asian-themed meatballs (ground pork, ginger, garlic etc) will have with some sushi rice, some coleslaw & cut up little cuke, and the whole thing on a few big lettuce leaves. Hungry!
(I peruse and save a lot of recipes from the NYTimes Cooking app
and am gonna try to use some of this solo time to road-rest a few for when my Sweetie is back from her trip.)

(34,256 posts)When my sister was here over Christmas, she brought some homemade pierogis, so I made Kapusta- a Polish cabbage dish to go along with the pierogis.
I used this recipe for the cabbage dish
https://www.curiouscuisiniere.com/kapusta/
1. I do add some dill, cuz Mom did
2. When you are steaming the cabbage-carmelized onions- and shredded cabbage, leave the pan lid down so the cabbage becomes tender.
3. This does make a lot, so I'll have leftovers.
