First up is arugula salad with goat cheese, pear, and toasted sliced almonds. I just cut the arugula about half an hour ago:



Isn't it amazing? Growing arugula and cutting it in mid-January?

I have a turkey meatloaf in the oven. I didn't make it; I bought it at a little specialty shop. I spent my afternoon getting trellises for watermelons and squash for this summer. They are really pretty. Can't wait to show the community gardeners!

Dessert: chocolate hummus and breadsticks. Decaf coffee.

1. stuffed peppers (ground beef, rice, etc) with tomato sauce, green salad, and garlic dinner rolls

2. Pork chops smothered with cream of mushroom gravy,

green beans and mashed potatoes. Popcorn later for the Michigan State @ Illinois basketball game.

3. Last of the baked fish from Tuesday with rice & a salad . More hot decafe tea

4. Lamb and Barley Soup for A

A steak and mushroom pie for me from “jolly posh foods” as a treat for me from a Scottish baker online
And yummy roasted broccoli, which we’d never had before.
