Headed to the airport tonight around 6:30, so probably will stop at a Portuguese restaurant and have some clams. If that's not enough, some garlic shrimp.

1. Italian restaurant

Carmine’s on NYC’s Upper West Side.

It’ll be a garlic fest and too much food!

2. Turkey breast, currently in the crock pot

Potatoes for Mr. Bayard, cornbread stuffing for me. Green beans. Rolls.

3. Cup of veggie soup and a burger patty. Hot decafe tea

4. Currently in Alaska for a long weekend

My friend and I will make chicken cacciatore and serve over pasta. He made a rustic loaf overnight rising bread and baked it off this morning. I’ve already had two slices with salted butter slather! Nice deep Cabernet to accompany.

Also simmering a pot of crab shells with old bay, onion, celery and carrot. Turning that into crab bisque that will also go fabulously with the bread and we will probably eat for lunches the next couple of days.

Additionally on edit. Forgot about the guacamole I made with avocados on sale. Appetizer to have during the football game.

5. Basic mac & cheese

Had a tooth pulled 2 days ago, still on soft food...

6. Baked spiral ham, candy sweet potatoes,

corn and freshly baked crescent rolls.

7. Leftover lasagne and salad.

Jello no sugar pudding for dessert.

8. Chicken curry with vegetables

with some extra cayenne. Husband and son went out to put some air in a tire on husband's car, so they were happy to have a little extra spice to warm them up. It's "only" -5, but the wind chill is -29 here.
