I scoop ot out onto a non stick skillett and heat it on medoum high. I always fail to brown it. I don't know why. I turn the mass of CBH over as it heats through. Omce its steaming, i figure its done. Again all my attempts at browning it fail

In all my years as a deckhand, cook, engineer, first mate, and captain on Kodiak boats we never once left port without canned corn beef hash. I still lay in a stock when it's on sale.

I was expecting the kind were you open both ends of the can and then slice the meat tube, but it was more of the scoop out into the pan kind.
Still tasted good with poached eggs on top.

Pretty thin layer... crisp it up... and add a couple of over easy eggs. Yum!!!

(I think it's really hard to crisp stuff up in a non-stick pan)

for brisket. Growing up with a Jewish granny was hard on the diet, everything was so good. I love a good Reuben sandwich, too! Mmmmmmmm you made me hungry. I've been trying the intermittent fasting diet and have not eaten yet today. Gotta make corned beef hash this weekend. I put potatoes, onion and red bell pepper in mine. Must have a fried egg on top!

Hope you have a nice weekend
