Copycat recipe for P.F. Chang's Lettuce Wraps.
The filling has ground pork, garlic, hoisin sauce, sriracha, water chestnuts, and soy. I'm putting in peanuts, despite what the recipe says. The pork is already flavored with sesame ginger.
Made a gallon of cherry kombucha this morning and bottled up six bottles of cherry and also pineapple.
Shopped Trader Joe's yesterday. It has been a while since I was there and I noted some changes. One is that there is a big increase in the number of vegan products.
I wanted some dessert-type items. They still have a number in the $3-4 range. This one is really good: Aussie-style Chocolate Creme Sandwich cookies, coated in chocolate. Not at all your typical sandwich cookie. I also bought Butter Almond Thins, shaped like a windmill. You can have just a few and hardly rack up any calories. Three would be around 60 cals.
Also bought Five-seed Almond Bars. This is more of a breakfast or with-coffee item and it's more expensive than the previous two. I like to add a thin layer of cream cheese.

(4,350 posts)And those green beans have suddenly started a real hankering for doing a big mix of fresh green beans. How much lemon and parmesan did you add to the beans? I tend to have a heavy hand when it comes to the spices, sometimes (like last night) to my detriment. Thanks!

Cher, I'm glad you described the cookies at Trader Joe's. The nearest one for us is an hour and a half away. But my husband and son are going to the Twin Cities next month, so now I know some things to tell them to get.
