I want to make a banana cream pie using what I have on hand. I want to use ground up animal crackers for the crust and vanilla cook and serve pudding with sliced bananas on top and then of course whipped cream will this work or would the pudding turn to water? I've got cream cheese on hand if I should just do cheese cake kind of deal.

(30,084 posts)but used graham crackers crushed with a little butter... and when cooking the pudding would either reduce the amount of milk to add or make sure to serve the banana cream pie refrigerated because once it warms up... it won't hold any shape when you slice it.
Hadn't thought of reducing milk but makes sense. About half or so?

As long as you bring the pup. But no dishwasher you'll have to use your hands
