My girlfriend gave me a couple Japanese eggplants, so I'm making eggplant fries with them. Tzatziki-artichoke sauce to go with them.

Salad with shrimp, avocado, and bacon bits topping it. The usual additions: cucumber, cherry tomatoes, celery, scallions.

Peach kombucha.

Dessert: vanilla mochi and cold iced tea.

1. grilled cheese with roasted red peppers on seeded bread and tomato basil soup.

The soup canned last year . .i over compensated with the tomato patch last year and ended up with a surplus of salsa. soup and whole tomatoes.

2. Hamburger steak seasoned well and

Seared in the cast iron and finished with butter and rosemary. Sweet potato baked in the nuker and white cheddar macncheese. Still have to fetch some milk to make this dish but it’s early in the PNW. 😁

Ice cream drumstick before bedtime.
