What's for Dinner, Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024

Cheddar bratwursts made in the slow cooker; homegrown acorn squash, sliced, and cooked in a second slow cooker in chicken broth.

I also have some foil packets of veggies that I'm putting on the grill: tomatoes, peppers, garlic, etc.

Dessert: cherry yogurt, a toasted waffle, and Earl Grey tea.

with polenta - a dish we adapted from a (probably) defunct restaurant in Fishkill, NY many decades ago. It'd one of our standbys, since it lends itself to whatever happens to be on hand.
