Posting early due to working late.
I have a couple small eggplants. Even though it's nice here weather-wise, they are not going to get any larger so I might as well pick them. The idea for tonight is charred baba ganoush. I have numerous flatbreads, naan, etc. to enjoy with it, plus I have peppers to use as "chips" to dip with.
My recipe calls for cumin, garlic, lemon juice; the usual.
I'll probably have a little broccoli rabe and pasta on the side, though I might add chicken broth to it and make it a cup of soup.
Kombucha flavor is pineapple-blueberry.
Dessert is melon and tea.

We're in Montauk, Long Island for a couple of days and we scored a beautiful piece of sea bass from a local fish market. It'll be floured and sautéed in butter and white wine. Pan seared asparagus spears with garlic and mashed potatoes with butter and chopped chives. Strawberries for dessert.
I love love love sea bass.
Are you on the boat? If so, is it cold?
