Help. I am looking for an electric space heater,

anyone have a suggestion? One with a fan that blows heat is out of the question.

1. Try an oil-filled radiant heater.

They are quite safe because there are no exposed heating elements. I've had one for years and it works very well.

2. I have 3 oil filled radiators, they work well.

My house is old and not insulated. I need to supplement the furnace heat with occasional use of these heaters.
They are very expensive to use. Your electric bill will go up a lot. For short time use, they do a good job. For extended use, I'd get one of the wall mounted energy efficient units at Home Depot or the like.
