I like to take my time to pick out what tool I want, to research it and to wait.

I've owned many jobsite table saws, and have been less than happy with their use. Don't get me wrong...you work with what you have, and it gets the job done.

In about 2007 my local hardware store had a promotion for the Bosch table saw with pop up stand on wheels I dreamed about for a time at about $200 less. I bought it and I love it. It is a smooth useful thing I can move around myself.

Bosch came out with a chop saw recently that blew away anything else. When I say chop saw, I include compound miter saw and sliding compound miter saw, in which dewalt has been king for some time.

The Bosch is a compound miter saw, but is also like a slider, but not quite that. I can only describe it like a robotic arm, but under your own power. I bought it at Home Depot. They marked it down because it wasn't selling. It cost too much before, but not then

So now I have these two kick ass saws. There's a stand for the miter saw that acts like the Bosch table saw one, and I am waiting for a sale.

Be patient with what you want to have. I've been at this for a long time.
