HDMI cable conversion

Last night one of the two HDMI ports on my three-year-old sharp tv stopped working. I need both one for DirecTV the other for my fire stick. I’m not prepared to replace the TV at this time. So I figure The only other thing to do is to convert the HDMI cable from the dish receiver to either coaxial or RCA component plugs. I just spent the last hour looking on Amazon for a converter or a new cable with both of the connectors I will need. Nothing looks right but I am legally blind so I could be mistaken. Does anyone know of a product that will accomplish what I think I want. Actually, I did find one product but it was described as HDMI to SDI and I think the coaxial for <y tv is RF whatever those terms mean. Thank you for any help given.

5. I am unclear about your meaning but

My problem is the number 3 HDMI port on the television number 2 is working and I have no clue where number one is. Both satellite and fire stick works in the number 2

2. Are you sure it's not the cable? I had that happen and thought it was the port but it turned out to

be the cable. I just substituted the good one or the old one used to be to see if that worked.

6. There are quite a lot of converters for HDMI cables.

Depends on what you want to convert to and what your TV supports. You can convert HDMI cable to RCA connectors. RCA is 3 cables, 2 for sound (stereo output, Red & White) and 1 for video (Yellow). You most likely will not get the crispness you are used to and if you have a surround sound system you will lose that too as only two sound channels are available.

You could also convert to component video, which separates the video colors to their base colors (Red, Blue, Green). This can allow a full 1080P signal although it is not officially supported. You will need the two sound channels for stereo and most of the converts will supply those as well...still no surround sound.

The also sell HDMI switches. This simply takes two or more HDMI cables (signals) and ports them to 1 HDMI cable. Switching between the input signals can be automatic or manual. Your choice depends on how you use them.

That's my 2-cents...I could have some of the wrong but I think I'm mostly on target.
