An update on my request for security camera recommendations. I went with the Blink system

It was inexpensive and easy to install with no hard wiring required and adding another camera is going to be just as easy. We installed it, yesterday and I downloaded the app on both my phone and my tablet.

This morning, the motion detector was 'triggered' by the local feral cat's arrival to raid the catnip patch, in the front garden.

I saved the video, for now. My niece, who recommended Blink (it's what she has) has my options set to automatically delete video after 3 days but I think I saw a 'save' option.

At least the catnip cat burglar is arriving during daylight hours. So far, anyway. The LAST thing I want to hear is the motion detector alert going off in the middle of the night!!
