Pretty standard, except for the strain relief, which looks pretty nice.

Not sure how suitable it is for Christmas, though.

1. McMaster-Carr....the source for everything.

As a industrial products Buyer in the 70s/80's, the yellow Catalog was a bible. If not to buy, at least to benchmark costs. Online, they added downloaded .pdfs of dimensioned drawings for most of the components that they offer.

3. Ran a machine shop at a solar company. McMaster-Carr

Was the best. Had everything and was only 20 minutes from their NJ Warehouse. Could go pick stuff up if needed immediately. The thick catalog was always useful to scope out what was needed for a project. Last place I worked used WWGrainger...they sucked and were way more expensive.

2. Made a similar cord minus the GFI and the strain relief.

I've had it for years. it's holding up well. That guy is very thorough.
