Plumbing question.... was mentioned on DU2.

Does anyone remember the name of the toilet that was recommended by DU2 posters way back when?

It wasn't like Kohler or American Standard. It was an unusual brand name. Posters highly recommended it.

Thank you!!

Plumbers really like Toto.

You won't find them at big box store. Mostly plumbing supply houses. The plumbing supply houses like toto because you can't find them at big box stores. Which is not necessarily a good thing for the consumer. For instance, a couple plumbing supply houses I know refuse to offer Kohler since Kohler started selling through Home Depot and the like.

Here is a rating on several toto models and a few other brands from a site I frequent with plumbing questions:

If I ever need to purchase a toilet in the future (new home etc.), I will buy the same toilet. Very good product.

Those are really cool looking. I'll look around for them here. I don't think that was the one, but it's worth looking into!
